Legendary Soprano Dame Kiri Te Kanawa will give her final Chicago concert at its 2008 Gala Benefit with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra conducted by Ravinia Music Director James Conlon.
The Ravinia Women's Board hosts this annual black-tie event which helps fund its community outreach and education programs. The Gala Benefit begins with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres on the lawn at 5 p.m. Guests will then be escorted to the 7 p.m. performance with dinner served in the Gala Marquee immediately following the concert.
