Program Overview

The Singers Program provides an exceptional opportunity for 15 classical vocalists to explore the rich world of art song. Fellows immerse themselves in diverse aspects of the repertoire, including style, technique, language, and performance. Throughout the program, fellows collaborate closely with a team of accomplished musicians and educators, gaining personalized mentorship that nurtures both artistic growth and career aspirations. The emerging singers, paired with staff collaborative pianists, are featured on several concerts and master classes at Ravinia, most of which are livestreamed for free to the global audience.

In addition to personally selected performance repertoire, the resident vocalists are featured on programs specially curated by the faculty to provide the fellows and audiences with a variety of concert experiences.

Past artistic directors have included Margo Garrett, David Owen Norris, and Brian Zeger.
