Each of Ravinia’s leadership boards hosts a signature annual fundraising event to support the festival and its year-round Reach Teach Play® music education and community engagement programs.
In mid-spring, the Ravinia Associates Board hosts the Music Matters benefit, which each year honors a local leader in advancing music education. Shortly before the summer performance season begins, the Ravinia Board of Trustees tees up the Magic of Music golf benefit, devoting its entire net proceeds to Reach Teach Play.
Then, during the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s annual residency, the Ravinia Women’s Board hosts the festival’s glamorous Gala Benefit Evening at one of the highlight CSO summer performances.
